Banesco USA is seeking a Bookkeeping Specialist I for our Bookkeeping Unit.
Primary Job Duties :
- Responsible for organizing bookkeeping reports on a daily basis.
- Responsible accuracy and completion of the related operational reports.
- Performs all operational duties such as NSF / UNC & unposted processing; holds, large items; all bookkeeping related department duties.
- Responsible for Fed Receipt / incoming check returns processing & postings.
- Responsible for checking and removing accounts from Dormant Status under Dual control with other department staff members for Puerto Rico IRS Tax Only.
- Responsible for all check collections, sending the items to the FED and responsible for posting to customer accounts once Banesco USA is credited for the funds.
- Responsible for the monthly IOTA reports to the Florida Bar Association.
- Responsible for keeping the bookkeeping log for all daily tasks.
- Responsible for customer research, (i.e. copies of statements & checks).
- Balance Bookkeeping ACH returns.
- Assists with Audit Research.
- Responsible for completing the annual training program assigned.
- Performs other functions and / or duties as assigned.
- Responsible for managing and clearing the daily Reconciliation of all Bookkeeping GL's.
- Understands and follows bank / department regulatory policies and procedures.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality / privacy of information.
