High school diploma or equivalent required
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) required
1. Knowledge of the building trades.
2. Experience as a skilled maintenance person.
3. Master Electrician, or state licensed trade / life safety certifications / factory training. Experience with the following : hot water and steam boilers, HVAC Systems maintenance / controls in a commercial / industrial setting. HVAC Systems control management, electrical / manual / software.
4. Physical ability to perform full range of maintenance assignments, including heavy lifting, and climbing to the heights of any Bangor school building.
5. Ability to handle hazardous materials in a safe manner.
6. Subject to such alternatives to above qualifications as determined by the Superintendent of Schools.
7. Familiar with work place technology such as : cellphones, computers.
