What You’ll Be Doing

As a Customer Service Representative at Bank Iowa, you will be responsible for providing personalized, relationship-based banking services to current and prospective clients at our Clear Lake location. You will be responsible for developing and opening new consumer and business accounts, originating consumer loans, and providing superior client service for both retail and commercial clients. CSR’s support clients in identifying bank products that meet their needs and use each client interaction as an opportunity to introduce additional products and services to broaden the relationship.

  • Opens new accounts, originates consumer loans, and provides bank services for both retail and commercial clients.
  • Supports new and existing clients by helping them identify their financial goals and ways of reaching those goals.
  • Performs service transactions for the branch to include check re-orders, address/name changes, safe deposit box access, outbound wires, account maintenance and outbound client contact.
  • Provides back up support to teller team as needed.

Requirements

Skills/Experience You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • 1-2 years' work experience in a financial institution or loan office setting preferred.
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism with internal and external clients.
  • Ideal candidates will have some banking experience, strong customer service focus, ability to listen to customer needs and suggest solutions for those needs, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to learn and utilize multiple computer applications.
