What You’ll Be Doing
The Talent Management Specialist at Bank Iowa will work closely with people leaders and our HR team to design and implement effective talent management strategies. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a comfort with public speaking and facilitation, a creative mindset to problem-solve, enthusiasm to inject fun into our team member experiences and a commitment to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The Talent Management Specialist will play a crucial role in promoting Bank Iowa’s employment brand and creating a delightful candidate experience that transfers to our team member experience.
- Supports team member life cycle processes, including attraction, recruitment, onboarding, development, retention and offboarding.
- Facilitates recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interview process, leads candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Facilitates and manages university relations and internship hiring process.
- Facilitates learning & development programs, such as: internship program, new hire onboarding, mentor program, etc. with a focus on team member experience and engagement.
- Contributes to HR processes by performing routine tasks required to administer HR programs.
The Talent Management Specialist is generally scheduled to work between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, hours can be flexible depending on need.
Requirements
Skills/Experience You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 0-3 years’ professional human resources experience.
- Proven work experience within the staffing industry, a human resources role, or related field.
- Experience with professional recruitment tools, such as LinkedIn, or other recruitment platforms preferred.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and management systems.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information, have strong communication skills; specifically public speaking and group discussion facilitation as well as have knowledge in State (IA) and Federal employment laws.
