Job Description:
Modeling Infrastructure Lead
The Consumer Behavior Modeling team has a number of large transformation projects in modeling and analytics and are looking for an individual with background in modeling, technology, and the ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders to provide business oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the ongoing evolution of the modeling infrastructure, starting with the model execution and scoring platform transformation. Partner with CIO and other technology teams to manage the transformation of the model scoring infrastructure from multiple closed solutions to align with the open source framework of the new modeling platform. Bring all partner teams like business enablement, Credit Strategies, and Tech on board to ensure a smooth transition through this large change. Drive the funding and project management related deliverables for the project. Ensure ongoing integration with other large infrastructure transformation projects like features store, cloud strategy, and data migration.
Required
- Advanced degree in statistics or related field, such as econometrics, engineering, applied mathematics, the applied sciences, or other heavily quantitative disciplines
- Programming proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark or other modern languages
- Prior experience in managing technology and data projects related to improving modeling processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects
- Demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated ability to teach, train, and mentor
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timeliness
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities that add value to the business
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity by investigating/exploring new ideas
