Job Description :
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application / system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.
Responsibilities :
Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement / story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story / requirement through the delivery lifecycle
Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues / errors, and triage the underlying cause
Performs spike / proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Required Qualifications :
A minimum Bachelor’s degree or related discipline or equivalent working experience
10 years of experience in IT industry and with exposure to both Banking and ML Mainframe platforms
Have experience in Java and Oracle
Have Good Knowledge on IBM software on IBM Idz.
Have Good knowledge on IBM tools like Topaz Connect, Sonar lint,Sonar Scan and IBM debugger
Worked on DB2 Repair utilities for correcting database status.
Have experience in batch monitoring and fixing the Prod abends quickly.
As a Developer / Lead my responsibility include Team Management, High level Estimation, Requirements Collection, High / Low level Designs and consultation, Software development, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Release level activities / Implementation, Client Interaction and Onshore-Offshore coordination, Worked in Client Critical projects.
Have eminence experience in coordinating with offshore teams.
Have knowledge in Hadoop tools like Map Reduce, HIVE and PIG.
Desired Qualifications :
Have knowledge on DevOps concepts like CI / CD, Jenkins
Have knowledge on AWS Architect concepts.
Have knowledge on Azure database Admin concepts and completed Azure DP-300 certification.
Have working experience on datastage tools.
