Responsibilities:
Own and drive trade product risk management routines for the global trade business supporting the global product organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders across both in and out of Global Payment Solutions.
Lead and coordinate the preparation, execution and any remediation, if required, for internal and external audits, reviews and assessments for the business. Decision high risk transaction escalations and non-standard requests to manage risk appetite.
Partner with business partners including GCOR, Credit Risk, Risk, Legal, Finance, GFC, COO, and Global Trade Operations for day-to-day business needs and execution against Policy/Standards requirements.
Serve as a Trade SME and identify new controls as the trade product lifecycle evolves to meet client and business need.
Execute against global governance deliverables, reporting, and process improvement for the global trade organization.
Represent the business by participating in industry working groups when appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years banking experience in trade finance product & operations, with strong preference for risk management related experience
Strong work ethic with continuous desire to learn and coach others
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in conjunction with various daily BAU responsibilities
Strong interpersonal skills and solid partnership skills to facilitate interactions at different levels within the organization
Ability to influence and drive urgency/actions across functions
Effective at identifying issues, practice to devise solutions, and engage the right individuals for execution
Desired Qualifications:
Credit acumen, both traditional trade product & supply chain/working capital related solutions
Acumen of new/emerging technologies, platforms, and digital transformation occurring within the trade industry
Minimum Educational Requirements: BA Degree or equivalent work experience
