Responsibilities
- Greet customers, process deposits, and handle various banking transactions with precision and attention to detail.
- Process loan payments, issue certified checks, and provide customers with information on purchasing US Savings Bonds.
- Cash checks, pay withdrawals from savings accounts, redeem savings bonds, and coupons.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records, balance cash drawers, and prepare teller sheets.
- Understand the Bank's products and services thoroughly, identifying opportunities to sell and promote them to customers.
- Participate in allocating retail sales goals and achieving individual sales targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring negotiable items and confidential records are properly secured.
- Operate standard office equipment, including coin sorters, currency counters, and teller machines.
- Balance ATMs and assist in receiving and processing deposits for the Bank of Botetourt Elementary Savings Program.
