Overview
The incumbent will support the Document and Collateral administration function, including collecting and reviewing all applicable credit and legal documents, financial covenants, insurance policies, and UCC3 filings, setting up documentation record, collateral information, and financial covenants in the core banking system and Laserfiche repository. In addition, S/He will generate monthly expired and expiring document reports, accountability reports, and insurance policy reports to Front Business Lines, Credit Risk Management, and Loan Processing Team. Also, S/He will ensure all processes are aligned with Bank’s procedure, policy guidelines, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
Document Management
- Review, update and maintain original legal and credit document data in the Laserfiche repository
- Process credit transactions and covenants monitoring in core banking system and Laserfiche repository
- Review and upload original credit related documents into related systems and safeguard original loan documents
- Follow up with Front Business Lines on missing legal documents
- Review and validate information provided and report any inconsistencies and concerns to supervisor
- Review loan and credit document for relevant system data accuracy
- Review and update loan document record in the core banking system and Laserfiche repository
Collateral Management
- Update collateral, financial covenant, and UCC records in the core banking system
- Execute UCC3 continuations and terminations based on instructions from Front Business Lines
- Follow up with Front Business Lines on pending collateral documents
- Notify supervisor of any exceptions found in monitoring and reviewing collateral documents
Risk Management/ Compliance/Internal Audit
- Understand and comply with Bank’s procedures, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Update procedures to reflect current workflow processes
- Respond to Internal/External auditors’ request timely
- Assist to remediate any audit issue findings
Reporting
- Prepare monthly expired, expiry document and accountability reports to Front Business Lines and Credit Risk Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required, majors in accounting or finance is preferred
- Knowledge of finance or capital market is required
- 0-2 years of experience in financing and banking is preferred; Operational services related experience in the banking industry is preferred
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills are required
Pay Range
Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
