Description
Position Purpose: The Cash Management Specialist will be responsible for servicing and supporting the Bank’s Treasury Management banking products and services including, but not limited to, commercial online banking, positive pay, ACH/wire origination, merchant services and remote deposit capture. This position will also provide client support and education of products and services. The Cash Management Specialist will also be responsible for developing and maintaining processes and procedures required to work on-board all Treasury Services, as well as working closely with business development officers to support their sales efforts.
This role is hybrid capable after completing introduction period and all required training.
What you’ll do
· Building strong relationships and partnerships with associates as a vehicle for understanding individual market needs that may facilitate client development and revenue growth.
· Facilitate training for deployed cash management services (ACH origination, Positive Pay & Wire Transfers)
· Manage the Cash Management email inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely fashion covering information including service requests, troubleshooting and additional cash management services requests from clients and branch, CRM referrals, etc.
· Manage the day-to-day applications of credit cards in the Apex portal queue, maintain branch personnel credentials, and help troubleshooting customer inquiries with clients and branch personnel
· Develop competencies in structuring relationship pricing with current clients and prospects
· Support associates by participating in the client planning process and providing specific client/prospect relationship data
· Understand and influence internal process improvements required to streamline the client experience and time-to-revenue through direct involvement in the treasury service onboarding process.
· Assist in understanding and researching market competition in terms of pricing and product offering
· Collect client documentation for Cash Management and other services and ensure the documentation is complete and accurate within banking and audit standards
· Act as liaison for merchant services and credit card provider and assist in sales calling efforts and lead vendor’s sales campaigns
· Coordinate business development calls with branch managers, commercial lenders and other internal clients as needed
· Organize service and installation of ancillary services with operations support
· Coordinate annual reviews of ACH Origination and Remote Deposit
· Provide routine and regular follow-up with customers post-installation and on-boarding
· Monitor, track and report on Treasury Management product revenue
· Provide management with timely reports on the Cash Management Services program, and other reports as needed
· Participate in vendor meetings, contract negotiations, and other bank related activities and routine communication as needed and requested
· Develop competencies relating to Fiserv’s Business Online Banking platform & Fiserv Remote Deposit Capture service platform
· ACH Origination familiarity of the NACHA rules which will require initial and ongoing training through the Mid-Atlantic Clearing House Association (MACHA). May require travel to attend seminars
· Obtain familiarity with Elavon’s Merchant Processing procedures, pricing and contract structure
· Obtain familiarity with Elan’s Commercial Credit Card procedures, application and pricing
· IntraFi Depository Network CDARS and ICS product and deposit placement agreement structure
· Complete and stay current on various required training courses
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements

· Ability to navigate computer-based programs
· Knowledge of current risk and fraud trends associated with the various services supported
· Banking experience required
· Proven consultative and customer service abilities
· Solid interpersonal, time-management, and effective communication skills
· Technological capacity to coordinate the installation & training of commercial services (i.e. ACH origination setup, Positive Pay, Wire Transfer) with the appropriate operational support.

Working Conditions:
