Job Description
The Credit Analyst is responsible for supporting the credit analysis function by performing various duties, including receiving data on prospective and active borrowing accounts, analyzing financial statements, agency reports, and interview and investigation sheets.
The analyst evaluates the short- and long-run prospects of individuals or companies, prepares loan presentation forms, identifies strengths and weaknesses regarding loan granting or denying, and documents recommendations. If assigned to the loan review function, they may suggest a loan grade after conducting thorough credit analysis and documentation review.
The Credit Analyst ensures that all credit analysis activities are conducted in accordance with prescribed lending policy, abides by current laws and organizational policies, and promotes a workplace free of harassment and discriminatory behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
