Position: Bank Services Representative
We’re looking for a dedicated Bank Services Representative to provide outstanding customer service and support as part of our Plymouth, NH retail banking team. You’ll play a vital role in building long-lasting relationships with customers while ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions. Key Responsibilities:
1. Office Operations
- Process a variety of financial transactions with accuracy, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Handle cash balancing and financial transactions with care to minimize errors.
- Open and maintain retail deposit accounts, ensuring accuracy in all account-related tasks such as signature cards and address changes.
- Support overall office functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
2. Customer Service & Relationship Building
- Deliver top-notch service to existing and prospective customers, fostering trust and creating lasting professional relationships.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for customer inquiries regarding bank products and services.
- Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor while assisting customers at the Bank Services Representative window.
3. Professional Growth & Compliance
- Stay up-to-date with bank policies, products, services, and industry regulations to ensure all operations meet legal and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills, including understanding federal and state regulations and compliance procedures.
- Adhere to all relevant banking laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act and FinCEN Regulations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Active work environment with periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. when necessary.
- Primarily office-based with direct interaction with customers, providing excellent service at the bank’s service windows.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in cash handling, sales, customer service, or banking is a plus.
- Must have knowledge and experience with computer programs used throughout the course of the workday.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and teammates.
- A commitment to accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- A proactive approach to learning and personal development.
