Deposit Operations Representative

Position Summary:

The Deposit Operations Representative plays a key role in supporting the bank’s operational efficiency and ensuring accurate processing of customer transactions. This position is responsible for a variety of back-office deposit-related tasks, including processing stop payments, deposit returns, IRA/HSA servicing, account maintenance, research requests, and providing internal support to branches and departments.

Key Responsibilities*:

• Process and monitor daily deposit operations functions including overdrafts, returned items, stop payments, and account adjustments.
• Perform routine and complex account maintenance with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding deposit accounts, transactions, and systems.
• Research and resolve issues related to customer accounts in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and quality control reviews as needed.
• Support the team and department with additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deposit operations, to include CD processing, IRA/HSA rules and servicing, Insured Cash Sweep/CDARs, Exception Item processing and Legal requests such as Liens, Levies, Writs and Subpoenas.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience working in Bank operations. 
• Experience working with Fiserv core systems is preferred. 
• Must be proficient in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams and comfort working with banking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional internal service and working collaboratively with colleagues.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business or related field preferred.

FLSA: Non-Exempt

TYPE: Full Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (end time may vary depending on department needs).
