We're seeking a future team member for the role of Java Full Stack Developer to join our People Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Serve as both a mentor and mentee with other developers sharing subject matter expertise bilaterally.

• Work with internal business groups on design and implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements.
• Analyze information and provide recommendations to address and resolve business and technical issues.
• Actively participate in team discussions, provide guidance and expert opinion on the subject matter.
• Provide superior software development services in a fast-paced and innovative working environment.
• Responsibility for the full product lifecycle. We design, develop, test, and deploy on the cloud.
• Perform coding, unit testing, implementation and documentation of solutions.
• Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• 5 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment sharing knowledge, opinion, responsibility, accolades and failures as one with the team
• Experience in web application software development required.
• Proficiency in Java, C# or similar language required.
• Proficiency in both the development and consumption of Web Services and RESTful APIs required.
• Proficiency in Relational Database design and development of DDL and DML PL SQL scripting required.
• Experience in SDLC, DevOps processes - CI/CD tools, Git, etc required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to document/track work required.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to maintain focus for extended periods and consistent attention to detail required.
• An understanding of monitoring/logging tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Moogsoft preferred.
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Principals preferred.
• Expertise in Spring framework, Angular, and Software System Architecture knowledge preferred.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (including Student Visas) now or in the future, in the country where applying.
