What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Scrum Master position at Bank of Oklahoma?
As a Scrum Master, Salesforce you will help coordinate and coach our cross-functional software delivery teams working on the Salesforce platform, using Lean and Agile values. We have four scrum teams in our Nexus (scaled agile model) delivering real business value for a $47 billion bank. There are 1900 users on our Salesforce platform, which is used by our bankers primarily for Sales Enablement (prospecting, client relationships) and Loan Origination (Deals, Underwriting, Portfolio Maintenance using nCino). The person in this role will be responsible for 1-3 scrum teams in our Nexus, to ensure clear communication, organization and health of the teams to achieve sprint goals and valuable business outcomes.
This role is someone in the Tulsa, OK area.
This is a full time role. No third parties or C2C.
Here is what the work will look like:
Scrum Team Facilitation (75%)
- Work “arm-in-arm” with scrum teams you are responsible for and Product Owners to align on roadmap and delivery
- Work closely with a co-scrum master to coordinate work and teams across the Nexus
- Enables Scrum as a software development framework for IT delivery teams
- Facilitates all Scrum events and ceremonies including Refinement, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and Daily Stand-ups
- Works cross functionally to align strategy, methodology and execution
- Work across teams in our Nexus (scaled agile model), and teams across the bank to plan and deliver sprint items
- Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountability for key roles
- Guides the team in the setting of realistic objectives for Feature and Sprint delivery timeframes and continually manages expectations with team and stakeholders
- Coaches the team to learn, improve and to work as a self-organizing team
- Facilitates team health, effectiveness and efficiency by removing impediments, mediating through conflicts, helping teams to make decisions and adhering to continuous improvement principles
- Proactively identifies risks to the attainment of Feature and Sprint goals and engages the team in mitigating risks
- Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally in support of team objectives
- Fosters speed, innovation and encourages continuous learning and feedback
- Tracks and monitors team’s progress towards Roadmap and Sprint objectives via Scrum metric reports (e.g., Burndown and Velocity charts; Delivery Trends) and delivers input to status reports as required
- Maximize use of agile tooling to provide transparency and meaningful metrics
- Provides input to help identify and form future Scrum teams
