Job Title: Wire Transfer, ACH and Remote Deposit Capture Specialist
Location: Minier, Illinois
Department: Operations
Reports to: VP, Assistant BSA Officer
Average hours per week: Hourly 35
Required hours of availability: 8am to 5pm Monday – Friday, Every third Saturday 8-12
Salary Range: $17 - $22, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Summary:
This position includes computer-oriented operations, preparing reports, completing end user reviews and assisting with other clerical jobs within the department.
Each employee rotates tasks within the department. This ensures that all aspects of processing are understood by each employee. Employees must be able to fully back up any function/task within the department. This will ensure that the department and processing functions are delivered in accordance with bank expectations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Wire Transfers:
- Handle telephone inquiries from customers and staff regarding wires.
- Verify and authenticate wire transfer requests, mitigating any risk to the bank and fraud to the customer.
- Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to wire transfers.
- Participate in any audits or exams by assisting in gathering information.
- Complete tasks ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
- ACH Processing:
- Process routine and complex ACH transactions.
- Process ACH returns, notifications of change and notifications to customers.
- Reconcile ACH returns.
- Investigate and resolve ACH related issues and discrepancies.
- Prepare ACH Origination contracts and complete set up in the core.
- Assist ACH Originators with processing of files.
- Participate in the annual review of ACH originators.
- Participate in any audits or exams by assisting in gathering information.
- Complete tasks ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
- Remote Deposit Capture:
- Complete RDC contracts and setup in RDC software.
- Train and support customers with remote deposit capture services.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Monitor and review deposits for accuracy and compliance with program.
- Participate in the annual review of RDC customers.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Banking experience, preferred but not required, will train a qualified candidate.
