SUMMARY
Be able to perform Central Services functions within the department as assigned utilizing the established policy and procedures as outlined in SPM IV
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Perform any and all daily functions and balancing’s accurately and timely as assigned
- Perform certifications as outlined in SPM Volume IV; monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual
- Work to resolve issues and or inquires made of Central Services in a timely and efficient manner
- Request support from supervisor as needed
- Conduct system and function testing as required and or directed
SECONDARY DUTIES
- Other duties as assigned by the Central Services Manager, Central Services Supervisor and or Central Services Specialist Lead.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be familiar with all deposit related regulations and receive training on a regular basis as appropriate. This includes but in not limited to BSA, Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, BPA, RFPA/Reg P, Reg D. Employee must follow all policies and procedures as set forth by the Bank as well as any regulations. Employee must also have knowledge of with all lending related regulations including but not limited to: Reg Z, FEMA, HMDA, Fair Lending, FCRA, RESPA, and Predatory Lending.
The employee must be able to take and pass all the required regulatory training as outlined by the Bank on a quarterly basis.
This employee must adhere to all security related procedures of the Bank including Branch security, protection of customer information and security as it relates to the Bank's internet and technology systems.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not responsible for the supervision of any employees within the Department.
ENVIROMENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The Central Services Specialist is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc,
This employee in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting up to 15 pounds, carrying, sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.
This employee for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, cellular telephone, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), check protector, encoder, money counter, typewriter, computer terminal, personal computer and related printers.

- Good oral communication skills
- Good telephone etiquette
- Ability to operate a PC and ability to quickly learn applicable programs
- Basic computer knowledge of Fiserv Signature data screens
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel applications
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to work with minimum direct supervision
- Positive work ethic as to attendance, time management, behavior
