JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for providing operational and customer service support for a variety of banking operations. Balancing and Borrowing funds to keep the Bank in positive status with FRB.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Borrowing and balancing from multiple other institutions.
- Completing borrowing and balancing reports throughout the day.
- Inputting outgoing wires.
- Verifying outgoing wires with customers.
- Reviewing, initiating, and processing Incoming/Outgoing wires.
- Reverse wires.
- FX Items – PCBB Balancing, orders, shipping, wires, and check items.
- Swift code searches
- Garda branch shipping requests or errors
- FRB GL Recon currency outages
- Logic Path C3 Currency/Coin Ordering and Shipping for branches.
- Answering service messages, e-mails, CRM events, and telephone inquiries from the branches and Customer Service. Must be a quick learner, have good technical skills, be able to perform multiple tasks under pressure, be a team player, and work with little or no supervision. The candidate will also be cross-trained in other areas of the department.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with customers and employees.
- Strong communication & organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Competence with computers, telephone, 10-key calculator, other office machinery, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & under pressure as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1-2 years of related experience is required.
