Position Summary: The Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for the building, uploading, and maintaining all loans in the core system. This role is integral to ensuring that all loans are accurate and payments and transactions are correct. The Loan Operations Specialist prepares and distributes reports to various bank committees and other entities.
This role will train for 3-6 months at our Bellwood branch and will then be located at our Columbus downtown administration building.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Upload, build and maintain loans in the core system.
· Build participation loans and manage payments and advances with participating banks.
· Initiate wire transfers for loans and participations.
· Review daily loan reports.
· Ensure loan payments are correct and accurate.
· Correct, reverse and fix incorrect transactions.
· Reconcile General Ledger accounts.
· Investigate and correct all non-post items.
· File all original loan documents.
· Review all loan maintenance to ensure accuracy.
· Track all loan policy exceptions and report exceptions to Senior Loan Committee.
· Track capitalization of interest and prepare a report to be sent to Senior Loan Committee.
· Prepare paid off loan documentation and mail to customer.
· Assist other employees with loan questions.
· Prepare weekly reports for Senior Loan Committee.
· Maintain and update credit ratings in the core system.
· Ensure that all coupon books are ordered.
· Prepare and submit Small Business Administration reports.
· Prepare and submit other reports as requested.
· Investigate and resolve E-Oscar disputes and notifications.
· Complete all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
· High School Diploma is required.
· Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred.
· Previous experience in Loan Operations is a plus.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
