Job Summary:
Perform operations functions for the Loan Department which include entering new and renewed loans on core system and ordering appraisals. Assist Manager with coordinating and completing projects as needed. Assist branch loan personnel with general lending support and questions. Serve as a back-up for other areas of loan department regarding inquiries, loan requests, and loan closings. On a periodic basis, rotate responsibilities within Loan Operations to cover other job functions as needed.
Primary Job Functions:
1. Enter new/renewed commercial and consumer loans on the core system
2. Enter all maintenance in the core system – ie. auto debits, address changes, etc.
3. Enter new warehouse and purchased mortgage loans on core system
4. Verify and update tracking of insurance policies received by mail
5. Review and update credit and collateral exceptions
6. Develop a good working relationship with all branch loan personnel and fostering a “team” attitude
Other Job Functions:
1. Assisting customers via telephone with loan inquiries
2. Serve as backup to all job functions in the loan department, including booking notes, preparing loan documents, and all other duties
3. Other projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
1. Knowledge of loan documents and/or loan operations experience helpful
2. Detail-oriented and multi-task-orientated person
3. Computer experience required; Must have Excel, Word and Windows experience
4. Good verbal communication skills
5. Positive attitude
6. Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm M-F
