The Human Resource Administrator role involves managing the planning, coordination, and administration of human resources functions while managing the team. This includes developing and implementing effective strategies for talent acquisition, talent management and development, employee engagement, and employee relations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Develop the recruiting and retention strategy.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring.
- Collaborate with managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
Talent Management
- Improve the bank's training and development program and communicate the process as needed.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
Employee Engagement
- Direct and implement employee engagement programs, including culture, wellness, and event coordination
Employee Relations
- Conduct workplace investigations, provide expert guidance and assist with employee relations matters.
- Ensure that employee relations practices are consistent with the company's policies and compliant with employment law.
Laws, Compliance, & Audits
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and Bank policies and procedures.
- Prepare, maintain, and collect audit data and documents.
Administration
- Process HR data changes while maintaining the data integrity of the HR Management System.
- Oversee the administration of all HR procedures and processes.
Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge, and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience is preferred, along with multiple years of human resource experience.
- Years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles and employee relations
- Team driven, with willingness and proven ability to work well and collaborate effectively with others.
- Professional demeanor and effective communication skills.
