Brookline Bancorp is seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Administrator for a long-term contract, (approximately 12 to 18 months) who is proficient in managing Microsoft 365 (M365), Office 365 (O365), and Microsoft Exchange environments. Your role will involve ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud-based systems while providing exceptional support to our internal teams.
NOTE
This position is "on site" only and can be based in Lincoln, RI or Boston, MA
Responsibilities :
Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure solutions, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity and access management.
Administer Microsoft 365 and Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related applications.
Configure and maintain hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Monitor system health, performance, and security, implementing proactive measures to prevent and mitigate issues.
Implement and manage identity and access controls, including Azure Active Directory, conditional access policies, and multi-factor authentication.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for cloud-based systems.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to cloud computing and Microsoft technologies.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a cloud administrator, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, M365, O365, and Exchange Online.
Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure services, including virtualization, networking, storage, and security.
Expertise in configuring and managing Microsoft 365 and Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and identity management best practices.
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and implementing connectivity between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
