We are currently looking for a PT Teller (20 hours)in our Oaklawn/Cranston, RI branch. Our tellers are the face of the company, greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner and processing transactions with speed and accuracy. Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer
- Balance within an acceptable time limit and within the guidelines of the Teller Variation Policy.
- Process routine teller transactions
- Cash checks within established check cashing limits, follows check cashing policy and seeks supervisory approval when necessary.
- Follows all bank policies and procedures including security of the bank’s assets to minimize exposure
- Basic knowledge of bank products and services
- Identify sales opportunities
- Contribute to the overall branch goals
Skills & Experience Required
- Cash handling experience
- Customer Service Experience (in Retail Banking a plus)
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
- Work involves sitting, extended period of standing, walking and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
