Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Overall administration of sales and service activity at the Banking Center.
- Maintaining a portfolio of existing and prospective customers to expand and develop new business relationships.
- Utilize knowledge and experience in exercising discretion and independent judgement in resolving problems and answering questions.
- Supervising, training, scheduling, assigning work to and evaluating job performance of branch staff making authoritative recommendations with regards to hiring and salary, when necessary, discipline and discharge of subordinate branch personnel.
- Conducting regular staff meetings.
- Coordinate the sales effort of the Personal Banking team to cross-sell products and services, setting performance standards.
- Direct supervision of the day-to-day activities of the banking center staff, assuming operational efficiency, exemplary customer service and strong financial control of all transactions, maintaining proper cash controls at all teller workstations.
- Demonstrates superior customer service by initiating and improving services and systems to better respond to customer needs, working closely with other departments to ensure and evaluate the quality of customer service, products, and services.
- Participate in sales meetings and assist in developing new and existing products and services.
- Leads the small business calling effort in the area surrounding their banking center selling bank depository services and referring lending opportunities to the Retail and Commercial lenders.
- Administers the bank marketing efforts, coordinating advertising across the banking centers and managing outside vendor services, including merchant card services and consumer and business credit card sales.
Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor performance standards of personal banking staff and operational efficiency for tellers within balancing standards
- Ensure quality customers service at all levels of the banking center
- Ensure that the banking center maintains a professional appearance
- Make certain that the banking center complies with all compliance regulations, that all disclosures are properly displayed, and all bank personnel are cognizant of BSA/AML and CIP policies.
