CNB St. Louis Bank is looking for an individual to join our growing Commercial Operations Team. In this role, the Commercial Loan Coordinator will support several lenders assisting them with Commercial loans from the beginning through the closing process. This position will perform various duties to support the overall needs of our commercial customers. Operational tasks performed can include loan accounting, collateral monitoring, and regulatory compliance tasks. In addition, there will also be general clerical duties to be completed on daily basis such as data entry, answering phone calls and filing/sorting of documents. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Previous banking experience is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely and supports two Commercial Lenders with administrative tasks
- Management of loan files and closings for new and renewed loans
- Provides required compliance documents to customer in accordance with federal regulations and adherence to compliance policies
- Reviews loan documents prior to closing
- Provides customer service to commercial customers as needed
- Works closely with our Closing Department to ensure proper loan documents for closing
- Communicates with most departments of the bank to fulfill requests and answer questions for commercial customers
- Provide loan accounting requests and resolutions for commercial customers
- Assists with Ticklers and Exception Tracking for commercial loans
Qualifications
- Banking experience preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and workflows
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, analyze information and make decisions
- Willingness to assume additional responsibilities, duties, and projects as they arise
