Experienced professional responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing business and commercial credit card products. Involves market research, product design, pricing strategies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive product growth and profitability. Manages product lifecycle, identifies market trends, and implements strategies to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives. Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and project management abilities are essential for success in this role.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Contribute to creation and execution of Product Portfolio Roadmap and strategic plan
  • Responsible for understanding and gathering corporate and business line strategies and business objectives and translating into product delivery
  • Product performance and budget analysis and reporting
  • Implement process or process improvements to improve product delivery
  • Serve as point of contact for vendors and internal business partners
  • Lead business case development for new products or enhancements
  • Translates business requirements into system definitions and solutions
  • Supervises proper implementation of a new system
  • Responsible for upkeep of product inventory and lifecycles; introduction, maintenance, consolidation and retirement
  • Monitor industry and competitor trends
  • Assists with client experience documentation and planning

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job

  • 5 Years of relevant Product Management experience
  • 4 years of demonstrated success in guiding credit card program strategies, including acquisition (prospecting and cross-sell), engagement and retention
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of card portfolio growth strategies

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Master’s degree
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly
  • Experience in project planning and management, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to articulate strategy and influence stakeholders

  • Forward-thinking in addition of managing day-to-day responsibilities and tasks

Required Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of deskwork.
  • Frequent use of computer, keyboard, phone and office equipment.
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying light objects, typically up to 10-15 lbs.
  • Occasionally reaching for items on shelves or in drawers.
  • Clear and effective communication in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to move within an office environment.
