Summit Funding Group, Inc. is an established and growing equipment leasing company and a wholly owned subsidiary of First Financial Bank located in Mason, OH. Summit Funding Group, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Commission Analyst. This position will be located at Summit Funding Group, Inc.’s headquarters in Mason, Ohio.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Calculate commissions and produce Commission Reports on a monthly or quarterly basis for our sales team for all completed jobs in the previous month based on the established process
• Process monthly and quarterly commissions in accordance with company's commission guidelines
• Conduct research and investigations of discrepancies and payment queries
• Learn commissions payment rules and guidelines for processing payments
• Prepare Volume Reports monthly for the company.
• Other reasonable duties, as may be determined by Manager.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job

• B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related field
• Or previous experience in Sales commission calculation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Intermediate to Advanced level in Microsoft Excel
• Motivation and interest in working independently with minimal supervision.

Level of Complexity and Scope

• Ability to handle the standard commission related issues or escalations
• Exercises independent judgement and raises sensitive or contentious issues in a timely manner

Degree of Independence and Decision-Making

• Some independent work and decision-making required. 
• Uses generally defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for accomplishing tasks and problem resolution

Required Supervisory Responsibilities

• None

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
• Frequently sits, stands and walks.
