Full -Time Teller
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday plus 1 - 2 Saturdays per month 9:00am - 12:00pm.
Basic Function:
Effectively and efficiently processes customer transactions to ensure accurate customer and banking records and documentation. Meets customer needs by answering questions, providing information and referring bank customers to appropriate bank personnel.
Position Qualifications:
Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- One year experience in cash handling
Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of computer, accounting, and banking laws and regulations
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve independently
- Efficiently process and complete data entry of confidential information
- Leadership skills beneficial for advancement

Essential duties:
- Accepts checking and savings deposits and loan payments
- Cashes checks; issue cashier’s checks and cash advances
- Adheres to federal laws and regulations; is alert to counterfeit currency
- Balances cash from drawer daily
- Greets customers and answers basic questions regarding account balances, service charges, interest rates
- Resolves complaints/inquiries from customers who are in the bank or on the telephone
- Refers customers to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line
