The Field Manager is the first level of management in each local office and is responsible for training, onboarding, and recruiting Financial Professionals. Additionally, they will maintain their own personal production standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Support a downline of agents and be accountable for their performance and compliance to policies and procedures
- Provide day-to-day guidance, consultation and mentoring for the development strategies of agents (production oriented) to help agents become successful
- Maintain personal production to achieve established goals and objectives
- Recruit and onboard new sales agents
- Conduct on-the-job training through joint field work with new agents that includes appointment sharing and commission splits
- Participate in management team meetings and support the local office in meetings
- Forecast sales and create/deliver sales presentations
- Prospect, network and oversee new business development
Requirements
- Life, Health, or other personal lines of insurance experience
- Ability to train individuals and evaluate performance
- Retail sales, training and development, customer service or hospitality experience
- 1-3 years previous experience in an insurance agent position; 3-5 years is preferred
- Leadership experience is preferred
