Compensation
Summary: The Trust Associate is responsible for the general clerical duties required for Trust and Investment Services, as well as the Land Trust Department. These duties include but are not limited to administration, cash management, client service, database record keeping and compliance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Completes tasks as assigned by department manager and as requested by the Trust Administrators.
- Assists walk-in customers, onboarding of new clients, and answers telephones.
- Sets up new accounts and performs account maintenance on the Trust Solutions System.
- Handles client requests, sets up funds transfer transactions, and manages the Will File database.
- Provides client information to BSA per their request for OFAC/Fincen information.
- Assembles requested documents, client files, records, etc. for the department and prepares accounts for bank audits/examinations.
- Monitors daily overdrafts for the department, performs vault audits, manages Investment Policy Statement, IPS database, and client estate inventories.
- Manages the real estate invoices, completes project assignments, logs department supplies and distributes department mail.
Required Experience
Education/Experience
- High school diploma, college preferred;
- One to three years related clerical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Adobe PDF
- Trust systems (TSS Advantage a plus)
