What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Processor position at BankFirst Financial Services?
Processor will set up new files and organize appropriate documentation. Individuals holding this position will utilize their intelligence and experience in designing and executing the assignments and responsibilities instituted by BankFirst Financial Services.
Loan Processor in the bank mortgage department reports directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing and closing all mortgage loans, including, but not limited to Conventional, FHA, USDA Rural Development, VA and Private Client Bank loans.
Validate and verify all information included in loan file.
Processor accumulates information and monitors each file from time of validation to closing. Mortgage Processor will be responsible for document preparation, interaction with title settlement agents, ordering borrowers homeowners insurance, completing verbal verifications of employment at least 10 days from closing, knowledge of title commitments, clearing closing conditions issued from underwriting which may include receipt of termite inspection report, necessary waivers, and payoffs for refinance transactions. Processor must have excellent data entry skills, good communication skills and able to work within fast pace environments
