Banko Overhead Doors has been serving West Central Florida since 1984, providing residential and commercial garage door products and services in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Pasco, Polk, Orange and Hernando Counties. We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Consumer Sales and Service Specialist that will assist our Sales and Service Teams as a member of the Aftermarket Division.
About the Job
Reporting to the VP Consumer Sales and Service, the Consumer Sales and Service Specialist is responsible for performing an array of duties such as assisting our sales and service professionals, as required, through the various stages of the selling process. As a part of this position, the Consumer Sales and Service Specialist will be trained in all sales processes, procedures, and duties pertaining to Consumer Sales.
Other Duties:
- Support Consumer Sales with estimate tracking, follow-ups and maintenance of the department estimate tracker.
- Support the Banko Maintenance Plan program through training, outbound calls and tracking.
- Handle all inbound leads by contacting the customer, scheduling the estimate and tracking.
- Assist in various campaigns to generate more leads for sales and service professionals.
- Maintain the design consultant’s calendars.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and text as needed.
- Prepare KPI reports as needed.
- Coordinate install scheduling with customer and Project Management as needed.
- Assist sales and service professionals in building estimates.
- Assist in sales training sessions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

You are skilled in your profession and you are confident in your abilities to demonstrate those skills, you are a team player, you are organized, and you have excellent work ethic. You are a detail-oriented self-starter, with solid organizational ability and strong math and computer skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects with accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person
- Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Must be very detail oriented and organized
- Prior related experience preferred.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in admin or sales.
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
