Customer Care Field Specialist – Banko Overhead Doors
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a strong background in installation, service, or warranty work? Banko Overhead Doors is looking for a Customer Care Field Specialist to join our team! This role is crucial in ensuring top-tier service and quality by addressing installation concerns, manufacturer defects, and workmanship issues both in the field and in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Conduct on-site evaluations and field inspections to assess workmanship and quality assurance.
✔️ Collaborate with internal teams to communicate findings and drive solutions.
✔️ Support new product rollouts by developing training materials and hands-on demonstrations.
✔️ Partner with Construction Managers, installers, and service teams to address concerns and improve processes.
✔️ Provide technical support to Customer Service, Project Management, and Installation departments.
✔️ Assist with equipment installations for training and troubleshooting purposes.
✔️ Perform root cause analysis to identify and implement sustainable solutions for recurring issues.
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 3 years of experience in a trade role (installer, service technician, warranty technician).
🔹 1 years of direct customer interaction experience (B2C preferred).
🔹 High school diploma or GED required.
🔹 Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
🔹 Technical proficiency – strong understanding of hand tools, job site protocols, and the ability to train others.
Preferred Qualifications:
✅ Problem-solving mindset – ability to take ownership of incomplete projects and drive them to resolution.
✅ Coaching & Training – experience mentoring and guiding teams in both office and field settings.
✅ Project Management Skills – ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
✅ Strong Communication & Organizational Skills – able to coordinate tasks and maintain clear, effective communication.
✅ Garage door industry experience is a plus!
Travel Requirements:
🚗 50-65% travel within our service areas.
