Overview
Summary/Objective
The Cyber Intelligence Technical Specialist I is a staff position accountable for ensuring continuity of computer system services for system users by providing real-time device monitoring and maintenance.
Hours: 11pm-8am
Sunday-Thursday
Responsibilities
Essential Functions

- Under general supervision, provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution performing question/problem diagnosis in a network operating center environment.
- Monitor real-time device status, circuit status, and events – responding as necessary.
- Communicate to clients any issues or down test.
- Address spam filtering and web content filtering requests.
- Create, filter, and close tickets.
- Communicate directly and persistently with various service vendors to hold them accountable for adherence to service levels.
- Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly professional manner and assist senior technicians as needed.
- Follow defined procedures and policies to resolve recurring tasks.
- Escalate or involve senior technicians on more complex problems.
- Perform related work as required.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and copy machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Cyber Intelligence is a 24/7 department staffed in three different shifts; therefore, days and hours of work are variable and could include overnight hours and/or weekends.

Qualifications
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate’s (or higher) degree in computer science-related
- Two or more years of technical work experience.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., A , Network and Security ).
