We are seeking a highly motivated and creative producer to lead the production of our educational YouTube series (@bankspower), including Speed School, Fact Check, and Entry Level. To succeed in this role, you must have outstanding scriptwriting skills and a solid understanding of automotive mechanics. This is a unique opportunity to work with a proven industry leader and actively contribute to the future success of our company. You'll report to the Brand Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Pitch story ideas, and collaborate with Brand Manager and Chief Engineer on story development.
  • Create storyboards and scripts to ensure entertaining storytelling using dialog and imagery.
  • Research topics using internal and external sources.
  • Work with editors to present short and long-form video for various mediums.
  • Edit videos using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Edit images, alter video content, and make color corrections and enhancements.
  • Follow the direction of the Brand Manager on content and pacing of videos.
  • Discuss video production at various stages of completion; use feedback to make edits to improve the video.
  • Develop innovative approaches and ideas to improve our work.
  • Help to maintain a shared calendar with current and future projects to track progress and completion of projects.
  • Work unsupervised on predetermined assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of proven experience producing and editing video. Experience using a production workflow.
  • Experience working in YouTube / Digital Video. Familiarity with the formats, trends, production, and animation styles prevalent on YouTube.
  • Exceptional storytelling and script-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of marketing, public relations, consumer trends and habits. Awareness of pop culture, car culture, and current trends in automotive.
  • Technically inclined, attention to technical detail, understand the lingo mechanics speak.
  • Understand YouTube and Facebook analytics.
  • Knowledge of the performance automotive aftermarket is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Salary Range

    89,000—$99,000 USD

    Actual pay offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
