Lot Porter/Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a an energetic, self-motivated, and organized Lot Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate is a quick learner and able to work at a fast pace, while being self - sufficient. The Lot Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the dealership lot, ensuring that vehicles are properly displayed and ready for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the overall order and appearance of the lot and buildings
• Park and retrieve vehicles for customers, ensuring safe handling and proper operation of both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Assist in managing vehicle inventory
• Moving units to designated areas as directed
• Provide exceptional guest services by greeting customers, answering questions, and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Record keeping of damaged and missing items (includes, but not limited to units and buildings)
• Maximizing use of lot space
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status and customer needs.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Willingness to learn and multi-task
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
• Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED, preferred
• Professional appearance
• Operation of forklift and tugger

Physical Requirements

• Good general health and physical ability
• Bend, squat, stretch, pull, push, and stand for long period of time
• Lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
