National Bank of Arizona has an opportunity for an intern to work in our Commercial Real Estate group. The intern will work on or be exposed to the following :
- Analyze financial statements of borrowers and guarantors and underwrite key strengths and weaknesses.
- Analyze borrower financial statement ratios and compare to the industry averages and generate a summary of questions / issues to discuss as part of loan underwriting.
- Analyze individual tax returns and credit reports to calculate debt to income ratio and personal cash flow available to service debt.
- Perform research on individual owners and businesses and provide a summary of any findings.
- Review industry research reports to provide a summary of the specific industry for commercial and industrial loans.
- Assist in completing annual file / loan reviews.
- Various clean-up / data projects.
