Position Overview
The Senior IT Specialist supports the team in maintaining optimum performance, security and control of computer hardware, software, and printers. They will provide support for the UniBank user community and act as an escalation point for helpdesk tickets as well as perform operational support of IT systems. This may include system security updates, vulnerability mitigation, server upgrades, Virtual Desktop engineering, and mobile device OS security. They will ensure procedures are performed appropriately, documented thoroughly, and that no crucial data is damaged. They may act as back-up to other team members as needed.
Primary Accountabilities
- IT Strategy
Maintain up-to-date documentation of Bank's systems, using appropriate diagramming and configuration tools.
Administrating Microsoft servers supporting user account management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, security, Group Policy, and scripts.
Supporting day-to-day operations and resolving any problems relating to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, servers, networking, business applications, hardware and software within a high demand and fast paced environment.
Analysis and resolution of user program issues - such as business applications, Microsoft Office, and internet-based programs.
