As an Assistant Banking Branch Manager , you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the branch. You will supervise, train, and coach the Teller staff while supporting the Branch Manager in fostering a culture of ongoing sales performance. Your objective will be to assist clients in reaching their financial goals by actively promoting Bank products and services and referring clients to specialists when necessary. In the absence of a Branch Manager, you will take on full management responsibilities.
In this role, you will :
- Oversee various routine financial transactions such as check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.
- Act as a leader in sales, operations, and client services while managing branch operations and mentoring the teller team.
- Assist with operational tasks to ensure timely completion while adhering to policies and procedures to minimize risk and achieve satisfactory internal audit results.
- Engage with clients to understand their current and future financial needs and provide proactive assistance using the Banner Way process and tools.
- Offer tailored solutions to address clients' specific financial needs and refer them to other lines of business as appropriate. Resolve any questions or technical issues related to client accounts.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all operational processes, requirements, and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security protocols, and government regulations among staff.
