Job Title: Portable Building Delivery Driver
Location: Columbus, GA (Service Area: 50-mile radius)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Job Summary:
We are a family-owned small business seeking a dependable and hardworking Portable Building Delivery Driver to transport, deliver, and set up portable buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, manual labor, and customer service. This position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions, heavy lifting, and occasional Saturday availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport portable buildings using a truck and trailer.
- Load materials for on-site builds and assist with setup.
- Travel outside the home area for pickups and deliveries.
- Set up blocks and level buildings at delivery locations.
- Communicate professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Follow all safety guidelines and pass required physical and drug tests.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain a DOT Health Card before starting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Ability to pass a physical exam and drug test.
- Availability to work some Saturdays as needed.
- Preferred: Experience with portable building deliveries.
Compensation:
- Based on skill level and experience.
