Position Overview
Banner Defense is looking for an amazingly talented Advanced Architecture Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to define and evaluate Missile Defense System (MDS) capability trade space envelope, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics as applicable.
What You'll Be Doing:
- As a member of the MDA Architecture Trades Group, scope, execute, and document the results of Missile Defense System architecture trade studies.
- Support the development of Initial Requirements Documents, Architecture Requirements Packages, and other systems engineering artifacts related to the Missile Defense System, as applicable.
- Support the development of alternative architecture concepts addressing projected capability gaps, real-world threats, and intelligence community threat estimates.
- Lead and coordinate the development of architecture requirements, development, and analysis to support Service and Combatant Commands (CCMD) needs.
- Lead, develop, and coordinate MDA vision and strategies to support the Warfighter, including coordinating with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, CCMDs,
- Provide Intel Community (IC) to Other Governmental Agencies (OGA), national labs, Industry, and international partners.
- Support Architecture Trade Studies Division Chief in scoping and defining trade study methodologies, measures, and deliverables.
- Support the activities of the Architecture Working Group; provide, develop, and deliver briefings addressing applicable trade study efforts; comment on and review to work products developed by other Working Group members.
- Coordinate future technology requirements across the breadth of MDA and with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, the IC, and OGAs.
- Coordinate trade study-related activities and work products with teammates across the Architecture Design Directorate (MDA/CAD) and external MDA stakeholders as applicable.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree and 20 years of relevant experience OR
- Master's degree and 12 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures
- Have detailed knowledge of the Missile Defense System, including Command and Control networks.
- Be able to accomplish the duties by working with minimal guidance.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Some travel may be required.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Hypersonic weapons and their capabilities and limitation and will preference to Navy veterans that held a position such as an Aegis Weapon System EDO or Joint Interface Control Officer, or alternatively an Army/Air Force veteran that understands MDS Elements such as THAAD/LTAMDS/Sentinel/ PATRIOT/GMD.
