We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented in house Parts Specialist to join our growing team. We sell parts to area fire departments and repair shops that we serve. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement and inventory of parts, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires computer proficienty, phone skills, inventory management, part sales and procurement and/or purchasing skills.
*Duties*
- Manage the procurement of parts and supplies, ensuring timely delivery to meet operational needs.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing for parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory control, tracking stock levels and reordering as necessary.
- Collaborate with the repair team to identify parts requirements for equipment repair and service tasks.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery.
*Requirements*
- Experience with fire apparatus is a plus.
- Familiarity with logistics processes related to parts procurement and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.
- Physical capability to load and unload parts.
This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of our service operations, ensuring that we have the right parts available when needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
