Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Acute Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our Ogallala Community Hospital pharmacy team. This per diem opportunity will involve working in a critical access setting, as determined by department needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and contributing to the development of clinical pharmacy practices.
Responsibilities
- Process medication orders and evaluate their appropriateness and completeness
- Utilize clinical pharmacy skills to assess patient medication regimens and formulate recommendations
- Comply with directives of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee/Clinical Consensus Group
- Drive professional development through BPS educational resources and achieve competence in acute pharmacy core clinical practices
Requirements
- Unrestricted Pharmacist licensure in the state of practice
- Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency program or previous clinical pharmacy experience preferred
