Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colorado. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations, including ordering medications, managing inventory, receiving and stocking deliveries, preparing and compounding IV medications, and conducting audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Identify medications and other items for reorder to maintain a continuous inventory of medications and supplies.
- Manage users within the automated dispensing technology database as per policy.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Use automated dispensing technology or requisition to restock medications to nursing and ancillary areas.
- Compound non-sterile medication products and understand applicable USP guidelines.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification.
- Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations.
- Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
- Prioritization and problem-solving capabilities.
