Responsibilities:
- Administer physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Monitor ongoing effectiveness of treatment and collaborate with Physical Therapist to modify the plan of care as needed.
- Document all interactions, treatments, and patient progress according to departmental policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in departmental process improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- Aptitude from APTA accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or equivalent.
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license from the state where practice occurs, if required.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
