Orthopedic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (PA or ACNP) Total Joint | Tucson, AZ
Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT) is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Orthopedic Total Joints Surgery team. This provider will play a key role in first-assisting in the operating room for surgical patients while also managing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Details & Qualifications :
- First-assist in the operating room for total joint surgical cases
- Provide perioperative care including pre- and post-operative management
- Assist with rounding, consults, and follow-ups on orthopedic patients
- Work primarily Monday through Friday, with some minor group coverage, which may include taking call and rounding
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of 4 Total Joint Surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
- Current, unrestricted Arizona PA or ACNP license
- Prescriptive authority including a DEA license for controlled substances
- CPR & BLS certification required
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in a surgical specialty preferred (new graduates will be considered)
