We are seeking an experienced
Community Manager
to join our management team. This role involves managing a high-volume, high-compliance affordable housing property, handling recertifications, and overseeing various affordable housing programs.
Community Manager
plays a crucial role in the success and stability of our organization, overseeing both the administrative and operational aspects of the property. This position is responsible for the financial, physical, and personnel management of the property, and acts as the primary point of contact for residents. As Community Manager, you will drive the day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless, vibrant, and resident-focused community.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all property operations including
staffing, maintenance, marketing, and customer relationsEnsure compliance with affordable housing programs, including
recertifications
EIV reportingAct as a team leader, creating a supportive environment for office and maintenance staff to excelAchieve financial objectives through
rent collection, managing delinquencies, and handling recertifications and interimsConduct informative and personalized community tours to attract new leasesMaintain pristine property conditions by working closely with maintenance staffRequired Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum
1 year of experience
in multifamily property managementStrong background in
affordable housing and recertification processesHigh School diploma or equivalentStrong administrative, organizational, and customer service skillsProficiency in property management software (YARDI or similar preferred)Tax Credit Specialist (TCS)
Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)
certificationsFamiliarity with
LIHTC
programsExperience in
budgeting and variance analysisProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelValid
driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicleAssertive collection skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse personality types and all levels of managementPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in managing staff and overseeing all aspects of property managementAccredited Residential Manager (ARM) Certification
Compensation and Benefits :
The Company offers a competitive salary range of
50,000 - $55,000 , plus an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, Simple IRA, PTO, paid parental leave, accident and critical illness coverage, short- and long-term disability, and more.
