Position Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) supports the Brooklyn Park manufacturing facility and plays a key strategic role in aligning human resources practices with plant and business goals. This role partners closely with plant leadership and frontline supervisors to enhance employee engagement, support workforce planning, improve retention, and foster a high-performance culture. The HRBP works in a fast-paced environment that requires strong relationship-building, ownership of processes, and proactive problem-solving.
This position reports to the Director of Human Resources – Operations.

What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with plant and operations leadership to align workforce strategies with plant needs.
- Guide leaders on coaching and performance management, including difficult employee relations issues and disciplinary processes.
- Lead key HR initiatives such as retention, engagement, culture-building, and talent development.
- Partner with the Training Coordinator to oversee training program implementation and help identify skills gaps to support continuous improvement and onboarding efforts.
- Support change management processes related to org structure, policies, and culture shifts.
- Use HR metrics and turnover data to identify trends, recommend solutions, and track progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including production, engineering, and quality) to ensure HR processes support plant operations.
- Support implementation of stay interviews and supervisor development initiatives.
- Partner with HR teammates across manufacturing locations to share best practices and align HR goals across the organization.
- Lead or support investigations, as needed, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Drive visibility of HR in the plant by maintaining strong floor presence, developing trust with employees, and ensuring accessibility.

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence, coach, and guide leaders and employees.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic goals with day-to-day execution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, with strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Prior experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement settings.
- Experience working in environments with high turnover and rapid growth.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct reports, but serves as a mentor and coach to leaders within the plant.

Pay Range: $65,735-$92,741
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
