Position Summary
The Maintenance Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of Banner's Brooklyn Park facility.
This position reports to Facilities Manager.
According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as:
- Non-Exempt
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning assigned buildings, including, but not limited to: vacuuming, cleaning windows, dusting, sweeping and washing floors, and disposing of trash
- Stocking and restocking lunchroom consumables: utensils, napkins, plates
- Occasional bathroom cleaning due to issues
- Setting up and moving work areas as needed
- Hauling and disposing of recycle products (cardboard, plastic) to their appropriate locations.
- Removing snow and ice from sidewalks
- Exterior maintenance, including picking up litter
- Other duties as assigned

Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of and experience working with a variety of hand tools, power tools and equipment, such as snow blowers, vacuums, etc.
- Enjoy working indoors and outdoors in all seasons
- Ability to occasionally work 2nd shift, on an as needed basis

- Warehouse and production environment, must take caution around moving forklifts, pallets and other equipment
- Good, clean working conditions with occasional exposure to dirt/dust and noise
- Exposure to various cleaning chemicals daily

Pay Range: $18.75/hr - $23.92/hr.
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
Salary : $19 - $24
