Position Summary
We have an opportunity available in our Quality Department for a Senior Quality Engineer with a minimum of a 4-year engineering degree. In this position, you’ll work with our engineering design teams, manufacturing engineering and production teams, as well as supply chain quality, and the RMA group to resolve quality problems; you’ll propose and implement product and process quality improvement programs, perform analysis using industry-accepted techniques, and make recommendations based on analysis of findings. This position is ideal for a Senior Quality Engineer or a Quality Engineer with 3 years of relevant experience. This could also be a good growth opportunity for a talented engineering graduate with at least one year of relevant experience.
This position reports to the Director of Operations Engineering.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, RMA Coordinator, Supply Chain Quality, and Design Teams to drive yield and quality improvements.
- Organize and lead Kaizen teams for continuous improvements.
- Lead effort to track and reduce occurrences of non-conforming finished-good escapes.
- Perform weekly analysis of quality data to identify and prioritize corrective actions to positively impact yields and profitability.
- Participate in new product factory introductions to gauge process capabilities of fixtures, equipment, and processes and complete line validations.
- Provide hands-on support to production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Update documentation related to quality improvements, containment, or other necessary actions.
- Lead containment and disposition of nonconformances found on the production lines.

Required
- A bachelor’s degree, or advanced degree in electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or physics engineering.
- Capable of mastering Continuous Improvement methods, quality tools such as 6-Sigma and statistical validation methods, fishbone diagrams, Pareto charts, 5 whys, root-cause analysis, etc.
Preferred
- 3 years of experience in design or manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies.
- 3 years of experience in statistical analysis, problem-solving, and project management.
- Proficiency with Minitab application and generation of Gage and Cpk studies.
- Computer literacy in MS Office tool suite and file management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of an organization.
